Located on the 4th floor of the wide campus of Acharya Marathe College, the Department of Physics was established in the year 1982. It is an expansive with area of 2500 sq. feet with well-furnished infrastructure. It houses Senior lab & Junior lab with it has a spacious dark room. The department caters to FYBSc and SYBSc Physics.
In this department, students are provided with adequate facilities to learn the basic principles of Physics, both theoretically and practically. The department has well equipped Laboratory with sufficient instruments and a library with good number of books.
