Department of Economics was established in 1978 and offered different branches of Economics to undergraduate and post-graduate students. The main intention was to generate and inculcate basic economics to the students that is necessary to deal day to day transaction.
Economics provides the insights and analytical framework required to understand the way our world operates; from the choices we make in our everyday lives to how businesses or
governments achieve their desired objectives. Every day, people make choices that affect their lives, in big or small ways.
