Alumni

Alumni Association is a crucial platform for Ex- Students of the college, who have been associated since long. During the accreditation period the Alumni Association was not registered though there were informal alumni groups of the students in various academic and co-curricular activities. Recently the alumni association is registered as ACHARYA MARATHE COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (AMCAA). The meeting of representatives of all informal groups was held regularly. We have a huge list of Ex-students out of which few ex-students shared their experience such as Mr. Gautam Arvel who joined college in 1986 and seen the growth of the college. The growth of the college is also seen by Mt. Mr. Bipin Mayekar, Dr. Paresh More, Deepak Chauhan, Shailesh Acharya, Subodh Mestry, Shashikant Nimbale, Ghyanshyayam Gupta etc. The ex-student Dr.Sanjay Jadhav, who is Professor in University of Mumbai, Department of Law and others explained to the last peer team that although they were from Marathi medium but because of the motivating teachers they can talk in English and are working in various departments including marketing department etc.. These ex- students were proud of their teacher’s contribution who motivated them to achieve their goals in their life.

The alumni association continually helped students and staff. The Alumni group of NCC cadets conduct’s annual meets regularly. The groups of ex-students engage in cultural activities felicitate the students in Tarunostav the annual cultural event for more than a decade. They also direct and guide the present students in preparation of various cultural events.  The members of Alumni association sponsor many events during the NSS rural camp.
